Robin
The stop-motion short film Robin was created by the sculptor Judith Cürvers. She developed a beautiful story to depict the moving relationship between a girl – embodied by Robin – and her grandmother. The short story focuses on the changing balance in their relationship over time, accompanied by the grandmother’s struggle to keep up with a changing society.
Cürvers dedicated this work of art to her grandmother, who has been a great and important part of her life since her early years.
In the absence of any form of dialogue, the music plays an important role in this collaboration, carrying the emotions with great attention to detail.
