ERO Call for Scores
In 2023, Niklas won the European Recording Orchestra’s composition competition ‘Call for Scores’, beating over 700 other submissions. As part of his prize, Niklas was awarded a short recording session with the ERO in May 2023. For this opportunity Niklas composed a new orchestral piece: Ascending Worlds. The orchestration was optimised in advance with the help of Hollywood orchestrator Dr. Norman Ludwin, while Conrad Pope and Dr. Andy Hill assisted in producing the session from the booth.
