We recently had the pleasure of arranging a few film songs for a concert of the “Bayerische Filmfoniker” (Bavarian Film Orchestra). The concert will take place on July 5th at the “Philharmonie im Gasteig” in Munich, Germany. Under the baton of Ingo P. Stefans the Filmfoniker will perform some of the best film songs ever […]
We had the pleasure of composing the music to this stunning film debut of Moritz Leick. ‚Die Ehe der Herren Schultze‘ (The Marriage of Messieurs Schultze) is a very emotional documentary about the relationship between Kurt and his husband Toon as well as the history of gay rights in Germany and Austria. For this project we teamed […]
“Hänsel & Gretel – Don’t let fear eat you” started as a voluntary project for child refugees in Berlin and was initiated by German costume designer Steffi Bruhn (Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot; Almanya – Willkommen in Deutschland) and highly supported by editor Peter R. Adam (Good Bye, Lenin!; Anonymous) since an early stage. In […]
“Allein” (which translates to “alone”) is a horror/drama short film of the German director Moritz Neumayr. Niklas was working on the score in late spring. By now some of the cues are available on our soundcloud page. Enjoy! (https://soundcloud.com/sonority-arts/sets/allein)
Earlier this year we had the opportunity to write a Main Title as well as End Credits for the upcoming german audio drama series “Pfusch”. Therefor we recorded the trumpeter Moritz Eckert in Munich a few weeks ago – here’s the result. Enjoy listening!
In the past few weeks we had the pleasure of arranging a few pieces for the Munich based band “Dreiviertelblut” and the Munich Symphony Orchestra (“Münchner Symphoniker”). Among other occasions the arrangements were played at the sold out release concert of Dreiviertelblut’s new recording “Finsterlieder”. (The picture above shows one of the first rehearsals […]
Currently we are working on a very interesting project in celebration of the 50th Star Trek anniversary. We are reconstructing handwritten scores of James Horner and compile it to a wonderful suite. You can hear the result in November 2016 in Prague and in spring 2017 in Dubai.
In the end of May, there was the opportunity to record two pieces with the Munich Symphony Orchestra. Meanwhile the tracks are also available on our website, you can find them in the ‚music‘-section. While ‚Gravity‘ was written for a movie scene, the ‚Intermezzo‘ was kind of a composition exercise in a romantic era style. Enjoy listening! Photos by […]
As part of the night of film music in Munich Niklas wrote two pieces that were performed live to the screen by a twelve-men-ensemble. Beside the rescoring of a scene from the mystery thriller SIBYLLE (2016 ) from the Munich Film School, he scored an old Mickey Mouse cartoon. The event was completely broadcastet by BR-Klassik radio, but […]
By now you can find two new tracks on our webpage, and some others are going to follow! The first one named Stoner, is a relatively calm piece for stringquartet, written by Niklas. In the middle of the piece you can hear a collective improvisation, played by the great „sirius quartet“ from New York. Recorded […]
